Text to video AI generator

Type a scene and generate a new shot from text alone — no source image or video to upload. Pick an available model, write the shot, set the options, and review the credit quote before you submit.

Three starting points, and which one fits

All three paths end in a new video, but they start from different material. Pick the one that matches what you already have.

  • Generate from text — text → new video. Start from a written scene. No source image or video needed. This is the path on this page.
  • Animate an image — starting photograph → new video. Start from a still you already have. See Image to video.
  • Edit a video — source video + instruction → edited version. Start from footage that exists and apply a described change. See Video editor.

If a written scene is the only input you have, stay on this text-to-video path.

Settings and sound

Input. Text-to-video starts with a written scene and needs no source image or video. Write the scene in the composer.

Model-specific options. Available settings depend on the selected model. Supported setting changes update the credit total automatically, so confirm the total before you submit.

Audio. Audio is not universal. Some model versions support generated audio as part of a run; others produce video only. Check the selected model's options before you assume sound is included.

Separate sound effects. For a standalone sound effect used in post-production, generate a separate WAV with Sound effects generator. That is a different job from asking a video model to include audio inside a shot.

How to generate a video from text

1. Choose a model

Pick an available model. Text-to-video needs no source image or video, so you can go straight to the composer and write the scene.

2. Write the scene

Name one main action, then describe the details that should stay the same. Keep the first test small.

3. Review the quote

Supported setting changes update the credit total automatically. Check the total before you submit.

4. Inspect the result

Return to your creation to compare, reuse, or edit a completed result.

5. Continue from the result

Reuse the inputs to generate another take, or select the result as a source for video editing. Compare each version before using it.

Credits and generation costs

The credit amount depends on the model and configuration, and the live quote tells you the amount before you submit.

New accounts receive 100 credits. Whether that balance covers a run depends on the model and settings you choose; the quote tells you before submission.

If the balance is too low, the credit dialog shows the required amount, your balance and the gap. Add credits or review plans, then return to your creation and confirm a fresh quote. Buying credits does not automatically start a generation.

See Generation costs for an explanation of credits and generation costs, and Saved creations for the results you keep.

What to check: Listen for rain and check whether it matches the visible scene; inspect unwanted speech, music or jumps.

Common questions

Do I need to pay before trying?

New accounts receive 100 credits. The selected model and settings determine whether that balance covers a run; the quote tells you before submission.

What happens if I lack credits?

The credit dialog shows the required amount, balance and gap. Add credits or review plans, then return to your creation and confirm a fresh quote. Buying credits does not automatically start a generation.

How do I continue after a result?

Keep the original result in your creation. Reuse its inputs to generate another take, or select it as a source for video editing. Compare each version before using it.
